How long do i keep the henna on?

You can keep your henna on for however long you'd like! However we suggest that you keep it on for atleast 3 hours minimum, to ensure that you get a dark, long lasting stain. You can keep your henna on for much longer than that as well to get the best result, bandages in our henna kits can be used to prevent any mess when sleeping with it on.

How long does henna last?

This varies for person to person as well as how long you keep your henna on for and what your aftercare treatment for it is. However, you can expect that your stain will last around 7 days if you keep our henna on for atleast 3 hours.

How do i mix the henna powder myself?

For our Seda Henna Powder kits:

Grab a medium mixing bowl and put the following ingredients inside:

  • 50 grams of henna powder - 1/2 cup
  • 25 grams of sugar - 1/8th cup
  • 10 ml of clove oil - 2 teaspoons
  • 1/4 cup room temperature water

Take a spatula and mix all ingredients thoroughly until they reach a "mashed potato" consistency.

Once done mixing, place plastic wrap over the top entirety of your henna mixture and seal the edges of the bowl above the mixture so that no air can get in.

Let your mixture sit in a warm area for 6-12 hours.

Remove the plastic wrap from the bowl and stir. Add 1/4 cup of room temperature water and mix with a spatula to thin your mixture out.

Transfer your henna paste to the piping bag and tie the top to close it off.

Fill in your pre-rolled cones and secure the top with tape. Each pre-rolled cone holds about 25 grams of henna. You should have enough for at least 7 cones.

How do i use a stencil?

  • Ensure the desired skin area is clean and dry.
  • Cut the stencil design to size.
  • Peel the stencil off from the white sheet.
  • Place the adhesive side on the desired area and press firmly to ensure the stencil sticks.
  • Remove the clear film on top of the stencil.
  • Cut small slits around areas the stencil is not sitting well so it lays flat against your skin.
